About Us

As a Veterinarian, Dr RS Chauhan is associated with the research on animals particularly on cows with respect to their conservation, preservation, breeding, health and production. In our country, the main issue remains unresolved for many years is how to maintain the animals when they are not productive? After many meetings and seminars with scientists, religious gurus, farmers, gaushala managers, NGOs and study of our ancient literature particularly Ayurveda, it has been decided to initiate the research and development work on Panchgavya which includes five products recieved from cows like milk, dahi, ghee, gomutra, and gomay ( dung). An unfortunate part of the animal husbandry was experienced as cross breeding programme which destroyed our own indigenous germ plasm and another deleterious part to consider the milk is only product of cow and the importance of cows was adjudged on the basis of quantity of milk. As a result of such policies, there was huge number of cows become stray animal and problem to the society.

Considering these problems in mind it was thought to establish a trust, a non-government organization, to extend the knowledge of keeping the non-milking cows in Gaushalas, maintain them through production of various useful products from cow urine and dung and thus making the gaushalas self-sufficient and this will solve the problems of not only stray cattle but also the natural/ organic farming through the production of biofertilizer and bio pest repellent to use them in agriculture. A demonstration unit will be established by this trust and the main objective is to make the public aware and train them for natural farming through the products of cows (dry dairy concept).

  • With the blessings of Shri Raghvendraji of Shri Ramchandrapuram Math of Shimoga (Karnataka) and advice of our colleagues, the idea to establish a charitable trust came up and the first meeting was held on 07-02-2016 and after a long discussion the of proposed trust suggested as GO MAHIMA SEVA TRUST. A tentative executive was also nominated under the chairmanship of Dr RS Chauhan.
  • The executive body authorized shri Rajiv Rana to contact and hire a advocate to prepare the bylaws, memorandum and other related documents/ papers required for registration of the trust.
  • An amount of Rs.45000/- were transferred in the account of shri Rajiv Rana to meet the expenses of preparing by-laws, typing, travel, fee of lawyer, registration fee, stamp paper etc. He was entrusted to get it registered with appropriate authority of the government.
